meet the luna family

We are the Luna family. Mrs. Luna is a Special Education Diagnostician and the owner of Signs By ME. Mr. Luna serves as the Director of Fine Arts for Forney ISD, where he has proudly worked since 2006. We are a die-hard Aggie family!

The fire truck featured in our logo represents Mr. Luna’s lifelong passion for the fire service, inspired by family members who have served. He has been a volunteer firefighter with Sunnyvale Fire Rescue for over ten years and currently serves as Board President of Kaufman County Emergency Services District #6.

The “ME” in our business name comes from the first initials of our children’s names. A few years ago, we set out to start a small business within our community. As public educators, we were looking for a way to supplement our income while also serving those around us. At the time, we noticed a need for a reliable greeting yard card company in the area. After purchasing a large inventory through Marketplace in Kemp, Signs By ME was born—and the rest is history.

This journey has allowed us to meet new friends, build meaningful connections, partner with schools and local businesses, and help create lasting memories for so many families. It has also provided valuable learning opportunities for our children. For our daughter, it has been a hands-on way to practice shapes, colors, numbers, and the alphabet to name a few learning items. For our son, known as “Lil’ M” on social media, it has been an incredible introduction to business fundamentals such as customer service, billing, and payments to mention a few.
